In Room 3 we have been learning different ways to make 5.
We had so much fun learning how to add numbers together and being a classroom of creative learners we can also show the different ways we made 5. We did this using our hands, colouring in some gorgeous flowers, and today we made some colourful ladybirds! At the bottom of each picture shows what numbers we have added together to make the number 5.
Hi Room 3. We like your lovely ladybirds. We like how you can make 5 in different ways. Have you used your fingers to make 5? Now can you make different ways to 10?

ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. We can use our fingers to make 5 because we have 5 fingers on one hand. We have started thinking about different ways to make 10.

Can you help us think of more ways?
